So, a week ago I bought a new toy. I've been takeing photos as a hoby for some time now but i've wanted a better camera than my point and shoot to really get into the hoby. So a week ago I finaly did it, I bought a Canon EOS 450D.

I've had it for a week now and im learning alot by just fooling arround with it. So where are the pictures, you might ask? Well i've taken almost 1500 pictures during the week but none of them are woth showing, it has mostly just been trying out different techniques and learning how the camera works.

The thing is that the weather here has been realy bad the past week and my appartment are just not that interesting that I've been able to shoot any realy good pictures yet. I will however go out with and shoot some pictures as soon as possible and hopefully I will have some pictures for my gallery within the next days.

How does it feel then? Well, it feels really good! Im still learning but I think going from my point and shoot and to a dSLR is like going from Paint to Photoshop! It's more complicated, but the potential of the result is alot bigger. I got it with the kit-lense (18-55 mm) wich is fine for me to start with but I'm affraid it might be a big mony consumer because im alreaddy looking into what kind of lenses, tripods, flashes and filters to buy

So I hope that in time my gallery will be filled with pictures and some of them even good pictures Maybe I should even consider an upload schedule to keep me shooting pictures and learning about it!
